Celebrating the life of Chi Cheng continues with listening to most of my Deftones vinyl anthology as it only makes sense to honor the albums Chi has been on. His mother’s words in her official statement at OneLoveForChi.com get me every time, “I know that he will always be remembered as a giant of a man on stage with a heart for every one of you… He left this world with me singing songs he liked in his ear.” :( Heartbreaking!!!
Chi’s last album recorded with the Deftones was Saturday Night Wrist which features most appropriately the song, Xerces “Universe surrounds, when you’re ready, it waits for us to leave this earth. Come on, they’re calling the name out. I don’t know I could stay or leave, either way cause the comet could take us all the way through. Goodbye. Safe, heaven, new. I’ll be waving goodbye. Goodbye. Ill be waving… Goodbye.” Bye Chi.

I love creating things that none of us have ever done before in hopes that it will make the best meal of all time. Each weekend we continue to top ourselves. Last night I was watching a sitcom when I thought to myself “I really wish I had long lasting friendships with 4 people - at the same cafe, brunch, bar or what have you. Then it occurred to me that Stark has that and I am an extension of this life he has created. I am Lilly. I am Mr. Big. I am Elaine. I am part of a long lasting group that hangs out at the same cafe every weekend, with the same servers, the same coffee and the same weekly crossword. That makes me lucky.
8am: woke up to my snow globe house with the sound of church bells ringing over the city. I used to wake up every day to the sound of those bells, but those mornings were never quite as beautiful. #grateful
Time Lapse of Hurricane Sandy hitting New York City October 29th 2012
I captured this by writing a script to grab a copy of the latest image from the webcam NYTimes have pointed out over NYC. Runs from about Noon on the 29th Of October, till about half nine am on the 30th October, 2012.No idea about why the camera moves, Im guessing someone knocked the tripod or the building swaying in the wind caused it. Its not one of the most stable setups it would seem (This is the camera: instagram.com/p/RWcBF4i1vM/)Source: .nytimes.com/interactive/2012/10/28/nyregion/nyt-webcam.htmlMusic is Wounded - Kevin MacLeod - incompetech.com/ who provides awesome royalty free tunes.~Shepy
